Putting the Public in Public Schools

From Seattle, an article about the controversy over showing Al Gore's film, An Inconvenient Truth. When conservative parents questioned the showing of the film, which in their opinion just presents a theory that may or may not be true, the school division adopted a policy in which teachers who wish to show the film must first get permission and then include alternative viewpoints.
